     Situated on the north shore of Lower Straits Lake, Edgewood is a truly great private golf club.      Opened to golfers in 1928, our course features stately, tree-lined fairways, challenging hazards, and some of the best greens you'll ever find! Among other boasts, Edgewood was the home course and training-ground for two-time Women's U.S. Open Champion Meg Mallon and hosted the Michigan Open in 1957.

     We have an extraordinarily-fine culinary team headed by our award-winning Executive Chef David and gracious service from the locker room to the first tee to the dining room. Many of our staff members have been with Edgewood for over 20 years and truly understand member service.

     Our pro shop features five PGA Professionals, an active tournament schedule, lessons for players of all abilities, top brand merchandise, expert club repair service and some of the best prices in town.

     We recently completed a nearly $2,000,000 facilities improvement program, which includes a magnificent new clubhouse bar and grille room, a state-of-the-art irrigation system for maintaining the lushness of our greens, fairways & rough, and significant improvements to our golf course.

     Our new $1.75 million fitness facility and pool complex offers recreational activities for the whole family. The fitness facility is open year ‘round, featuring personalized training in an exclusive country club atmosphere. The pool complex is seasonal but offers a variety of activities for families, with swim lessons and an area for children's pool parties.
